How come this card is so underrated? Shadow is a great evasive ability as most of the creatures won't affect it and your opponents usually don't expect it. In a white weenie with boosing enchantments such as Crusade, Glorious Anthem, the white Crovax or even good ol' Soltary Champion, the on/off Shadow ability really helps grinding your opponent's live points and effectively blocking your opponent's creatures so that you won't die.
And yes, it'll fall to removal, like most creatures do. Be a grown-up and Fix that with a couple of Mother of Runes or Eight and a Half.

It is underrated, but that's probably because there were actually a good number of somewhat superior shadow white creatures. Soltari Priest and Soltari Monk can't block. Well, they don't really need to.

I'd really prefer if it had shadow by default and used it's ability to come back into the real world. THat would be more flavourful and more useful. Still, great card.
