Outside of Rath Cycle environments, probably the best "Target creature becomes unblockable" type effect printed to date, thanks in large part to that drawn card as well. And hey, you can always use it to block an opponent's shadow creature, should that ever actually come up...

This card is good, dammit. I used to wish for this, cast it on my Psychatog, and make my friend pull his hair out.

Odd that this is cheeper then Reality Anchor, even though this is better.
On rare occasions, you can actually cast this on an opponent's creature so it can't block. Very situational, but something to keep in mind against, say, Palace Guard.
Also useful for disrupting an enemy using things which manipulate your blockers, like Lure.

It's funny to look at this and Touch of Invisibility haha. This and Distortion Strike make that card look horrible!!

Pure economy. While in Tempest block it was entirely possible to block creatures with shadow, the extra card and its use in modern Magic are make this card still quite viable.
U: Your opponents biggest creature can't block this turn. Draw a card. U: Your nastiest creature is unblockable this turn. Draw a card.

Even Shadows Have Shadows - Eyedea & Abilities
With that off my chest, this card is probably the best of it's kind. Yeah, you can't reuse it like Artful Dodge or Distortion Strike, but this is much more flexible, because you can prevent your opponent's creature from blocking, and draw a card while your doing it.

Essentially unblockable.
I hope that Shadow makes a come back soon, maybe in some sort of planar distortion set. It was a neat mechanic that hasn't been explored as much as it could.
