The baseline is that is a lot to pay for the effect. But in certain casual groups where you just play one match with a deck and then move on, it is good to have the option to cycle your useless artifact/enchantment destruction away for more gas.

This card is blah. Naturalize is better.

Honestly, this card feels pretty solid to me. I think it costs too many, but it is still nice to have the option to trade it out for a card that is more useful to you.

The art is really cool. I always liked the Nantuko for embodying a "smart" Green. They're not bears or wurms- they're INSECT MONKS.

Oh wow. Now I can't believe we used to play with such underpowered card, even though Naturalize was indeed the baseline.
The important part here is the cantrip, in casual you normallay don't have sideboards so you have to have an answer in your Deck, and if the enemy doesn't have an artifact or enchantment, then disenchant oder slice in Twain are dead cards.

One of those beautiful examples of flavor text describing the card.
