Doubling Season and you have a 6/6 for 5 Mana, and after it dies you can swap 12 Counters :)
Also don't forget Proliferate, works like a charm with modular

@Buderus: I absolutely love running modular creatures with Proliferate. I presume Doubling Season as well, but even after all the times I've run my deck, I've yet to cast it and have modular creatures at hand. One day I will live the dream.
I sincerely hope Wizards revisits modular, perhaps in a Planechase product or somewhere, so that I can replace the more lackluster creatures in my deck. While this guy's flavor text is great and his P/T isn't terrible (certainly not when he pumps up the evasive Arcbound Fiend), but there are certainly better designs they could print that would instantly replace (and Arcbound Lancer and Arcbound Wanderer, if anyone runs those) this in modular decks everywhere.
