Very nice against opponents that rely on discard to win.

Magic R&D keeps a set of very generic unused artworks in case the artists screw up the art order and turn lemures into lemurs or a calendar into a colander.
This is one such generic artwork; notice that it could fit half of all red non-creature spells. It was used because the original drawing R&D received for this card looked a lot like Kird Ape.

Generic Tactics: 1R, Instant.
Replace target artwork on a card from an earlier edition with new, totally generic artwork to avoid paying royalties to the former artist.

At first I was:"OMG Chandra Ablaze and all the self-discarding stuff in Red is going to love it"...
how was I disappointed to realize the "opponent" requirement.

Since when is 'sit around and wait for them to try to rob you of something' an example of Guerrilla tactics?
