Better card than most people give it credit for. Yes, it's worse than bolt and incinerate. 3 damage for 2 mana is still a pretty good deal, though.

That hammer looks fairly important. I'd probably keep it neatly stowed on a pegboard in my garage, rather than dangling precariously from several flimsy straps over a volcano.
