This, Zap and Lava Dart are all awesome for the simple fact that pinging with burn spells is FUN! :D Gotta love the flavor of this card!

Compare Forgotten Cave which has effectively the same cost as this card (it comes in tapped so you lose out on {R} over a regular mountain) and the same cycling cost. Would you rather have a land cycle for {R} or 1 damage? Hmm...
