I actually came here to mention that this is one of the best X slots in my group's "Soup" format, but someone beat me to it. It sees way too much play, basically unless your running black, it's this guy or your wildcard (something that starts with a symbol other than the 26-letter alphabet you were taught in kindergarten.
He's won quite a few games, so no one really complains too much.
I guess this is isn't much of a point, as the point of Soup is that Magic wasn't designed with it in mind.
