I love these Gempalm creatures. The need to show off their palms has just landed them in one hilarious pose after another. This one looks like it's doing the TADA after a magic trick

Big fan of gempalm creatures myself. I do like how weird they are too - what exactly was the flavour justification supposed to be?

They remind me of spellshapers, who you would think would also be wizards or clerics or whatever,.. but no,.. just spellshapers.

This is one of the weaker gempalms. The issue is that his cycle is decent (not great), but the creature is weak. So you don't really get much in the way of versatility from the card, which is something gempalms (and cycle cards in general) are supposed to offer you.

None of the Gempalms actually made good on the idea of versatility, the creatures themselves are anywhere from lackluster to bad, but their abilities are nice, nigh-uncounterable, and replace themselves, for only a nominal cost.

Poor Gempalm Avengeer. He's open for a pass and commited to scoring that game-winning basket. But every time he puts his hands out, he keeps blinding his hapless teammates.

2W for +1/+1 and first strike to all Soldier creatures you control until end of turn AND draw a card. Then, if you get desperate late-game, you can cast it down as a 3/5 Soldier. Not bad, not bad at all.

This guy has great synergy with Stoic Champion.

A good boost for white wheenies decks, even if not an indispensable card.

This guy is not bad! maintains relevancy throughout the game. should have had slightly better stats though, or given soldiers +1+1 while he's in play as a creature.
