It's worded differently, and technically it works slightly differently, but basically the second ability is Totem Armor.

A decent card back in the day since it was one of the first creature enchantments that was designed to try to get around the card disadvantage produced by using such enchantments. Later experiments led to the "bounce" enchantments that showed up in Mirage, Totem Armors, etc. So, at least from a historical viewpoint, this card is worthy of note.
