This should have a higher rating. It's bad, but it's far from useless. I could imagine playing this in limited, unlike the vast majority of <1 rated cards.
For that cost, it probably could have gotten away with a toughness of 3.

Whose idea was it to line up this thing's Oracle wording with its original printing? It's been reprinted twice with appreciably cleaner text. Surely there are thousands more white-bordered copies in circulation than black-bordered! Anyway, the original wording was ambiguous enough that it COULD be interpreted to last until end of turn. If you want to be REALLY picky, it should be a continuous, not triggered, ability: "Murk Dwellers gets +2/+0 as long as it's attacking and unblocked." This is MODO's fault, isn't it?
Anyway, these guys look pretty silly next to Mortis Dogs.
