Not as good as Wanderlust but better then Feedback (even though Feedback can be added to the Donate/Illusions of Grandeur combo to increase the preasure on your opponent).

Much too slow, and too easily gotten rid of in many cases.

Too slow? Two mana is slow? This card isn't great but it's fine. Four of these would be four damage a turn and that's outside of combat. This is a cheap time limit on the game.
