Double your card advantage with Misthollow Griffin. Another good option is to use it to thin your graveyard for cards that bring random cards back from your graveyard like Charmbreaker Devils. What mana slot do you put your {X} spells in? It's just a general question for personal opinions. I personally try to figure out what {X} is normally going to be. Here I would put it in a 2 or 3 mana slot. Fireball would go in a finisher (4+).

Very good card. It has the potential to draw a lot of cards, plus it is an instant, which not a lot of black card draw is.

If your deck lacks graveyard synergy, the drawback is "Can't cast this for X as high as I'd like" rather than "I'm exiling cards from my graveyard"
