Although the flavourtext here isn't nearly as good at the one on Nekrataal, it's still really cool to see two Planeswalkers talking to each other. With all the work Wizards puts into developing the colour pie, it'd be a shame if we didn't get to see how the colours interact and feel about each other.
On that note, it's pretty easy to see why Vraska would feel right at home among the vampire assassins of Zendikar. I wonder if she's ever planeswalked there?

Love this card. The art, the flavor text, the fact he is a one drop that can really impact a multiplayer EDH game early on. I admit I really only play multiplayer EDH, so my opinion may be biased, but hey, he gets 5/5 from this guy!

There are plenty of living things that don't have a pulse, though. To take a premier example, a tree. Trees are definitely living beings, and yet they do not have anything that can be described as a pulse.

Am I the only one who likes the old flavor text better? I personally like how it ties this card to the other vampire cards like Gatekeeper of Malakir, instead of tying two cards that don't have anything to do with this guy.
