Not every ramp spell can be costed as well as Cultivate and Kodama's Reach. And to make up for that imperfection, it even lets you scry afterwards, in my book that's not bad at all.

So here's... another uninspired card with SCRY 1 tacked on. And these people... I mean, they get paid to make these cards? Really? It's ironic that this set's keyword is 'inspired' since the set feels like a rehashing of Theros.

@Eternal_Blue - just because a card is uninspired doesn't mean its worthless or bad. This is decent in any dual color deck in limited, regardless of how boring it is.

Paying 1 more mana for scry 1 is fine on a reactive or later-game card (e.g. Portent of Betrayal), but most definitely not on a mana card. And it's particularly obnoxious that this "upgrade" to Kodama's Reach/Cultivate meant it got promoted to uncommon. My 1 star rating was almost entirely for the art quality.

I think the name and the effect (scry included) work together very well. The art is evocative, the effect feels good and works well for the kitchen table, and limited will make excellent use of it.
The card is effective, functional, and interesting to Vorthos. Hate is misplaced.

Funny how neatly seven lines of text condense into "Cultivate + Scry 1."

There are no other "shuffle, then scry" or "shuffle, then clash" cards.

Just slipped one in my EDH deck. 3.5/5 I prefer cultivate, I run both, & scry in EDH is a nice bonus. Kick ass art!
