strictly worse than a lot of things. I think the main thing stopping me from useing it over one of the bounce lands from ravnica (even in mono black) is that it has to be an untapped swamp.

If it weren't 'untapped swamp' then it might be playable.

Yeah, it slows you down a little since the swamp you return has to be untapped, but in a mono/dual colored EDH deck you haven't got many options for >1 mana lands. Worst case scenario you put off playing a spell for a turn, which, early game, isn't that big of a deal.

You know, if Wizards had just decided to copy and paste everything from Africa onto Jamuraa, it would really feel like a generic African setting. I'm glad that Wizards actually uses a little creativity when they make their settings.
