Agh, at first reading I thought it worked like a flexible Taunting Elf. Still, a flexible Lure is pretty cool. Also, if you activate his ability you are obligated to say "DOODILY DOOT DOOT DOOT" as you tap your mana.

The flavour text implies that its ability works like Provoke. Except it doesn't...

You sure have to pay a lot of mana to make him play his aulos.

*Taps 4* Satyr piper: Hey! Hey buddy! i dare you to block that scorpion.
I don't think that's such a good idea, it has deathtouch.
Come on! don't be a coward!
Umm, okay i guess. *dies*
Satyr: man, this is too easy. Oh, here comes another one. *clears throat* Hey! i dare you to block that spider

Great in limited if you use green or red, but his ability is too expensive to be used in standard effectively.

The guy in the picture is playing a reed instrument known as an aulos, so he is probably a reference to the satyr Marsyas in Greek mythology. In the myth, Marsyas' melodies were said to be so beautiful that he could put a spell on those who listened to him, which is probably why his ability lets you force a block. Ultimately, he lost a music competition to Apollo and was skinned alive, so this dude better watch out for Heliod!
