This singlehandedly wins games in limited. It's no Briarhorn, but that doesn't mean it's not a first pick.

Flash 5/5 blocker or 3/3 first main phase with a +2/2 pump for another creature? This card is very good.

Combat trick or suprise blocker. Very neat, I didn't actually see this guy the first time around

Flash and kill something they wouldn't other wise attack with, pump a buddy to win in another combat situation, and trade with something latter. Possible 3 for 1 that will turn the tide of games.

Yeeaahh.....another card I'm not ENTIRELY sold on how 'Core' it should be. :P

This much Flash in Green? Saying not only that it's Uncommon in Dark Ascension, but also in Core? I would expect Flash to stay at Rare in Green, in the Core Set. >.>

How...ev....er...

Innistrad WAS awesome -__-

I like how a bad Briarhorn is still obscenely good.

Flash also combines brilliantly with Werewolf decks as it allows you to play spells in your opponents turn

I like the flavor here. As alpha he gets to send in a wolf buddy to supplement himself or a creature of your choice when he enters (typical mtg wolves are 2/2)
