War dogs! Who likes war dogs? What kind of guilds like armored war dogs? White guilds, red guilds, guilds that swing with dudes! Burn guilds, lifelink guilds, even guilds with token crews like war dogs! Armored war dogs! The dog guilds love to summon!

Only a decent card, but I love the art. He just looks so happy! I bet this dog would make any battalion a fun time.

This completes the Ravnican mega-cycle of white bears with an added ability.

RtR had Keening Apparition.
Gatecrash had Syndic of Tithes.
And now Dragon's Maze has this fella'.

When you can play other lifelinking 2/2s, this begins to pale.

Why does it get lifelink? I don't get it.

It's a value bear. It isn't the best value bear, especially for aggro like Boros wants to run, but nonetheless, value bears get 3/5 (maybe more for a particularly good one) from me.

I kind of like the art, too.

as if a 2/2 lifelink for 2 was OP. give the dog plain lifelink and batallion +1+1 !!

Really? Lifelink? That's all you could come up with for our last Battalion common? Consider me disappointed.

Not beter than a grizzly bear. When you attack with a large group of small creatures, then you're playing an aggro deck. Which means that you try to beat your opponent to death as fast as possible. Which again means, that your own life is mostly irrelevant, because, unless your deck sucks, you'll deal more damage than the opponent.

It heals from the nourishment it gets from biting things? Makes sense to me.
