One of the worst lands of the cycle

Meh. It's a dual land with no flashy effects that enters the turn tapped. Dual land means its playable if you need a {B}/{R} land, but as it enters tapped an its 'positive' is very minor life gain, its just a Meh but functional card

I like this cycle of land! Even if only 1 life is almost nothing, it can gain a turn, sometimes: often I lose (or win) with just the exact amount of damages, so in some cases it can help a little...

But what upset me is that they always do only the friend-color pair. Hope to see more equality in the future...

And another cycle of land that I would really love to see is something like this:
~ enters the field tapped.
When ~ enters the field, add 1 to your mana pool.
Tap: Add Black or Red to your mana pool.
and its siblings... In this way, you don't get the specific mana the turn that you cast it, but you don't lose tempo in the late game. And at the beginning you could cast a one mana artifact, like a Spellbomb or a Sensei's Divining Top.

Good cycle for players on a budget. 1 life is not always relevant but it cant hurt either.
