Obvious choice for a reprint. It's decent, but the lack of player targeting hinders it a lot.

I have to agree with Continue on this one, Would've made more sense to target a player as well as a creature but then you are really getting best bang for your buck. Deals 2 damage to target creature or player and you gain 2 life. Um yeah I am pretty sure that card wouldn't be a common anymore. Also this is still playable to kill creatures and swing you back with 2 life. Perfectly reasonable for 2 mana. The card just seems like Sorin's first ability so much but without targeting a player it misses the mark. Being able to hit other Planeswalkers was what made Sorin's 1st ability so good.

This card is actually very strong verse aggro type decks. Usually always a few targets to snipe early game and gives you a bit more health.
