A victim of bad timing, of course. There was only room for one 1UB creature in decks of the era, and the one with the late-game range was not the otherwise fine Shadowmage Infiltrator...

I guess the "Fear" keyword will be removed from this card since the new "Intimidate" keyword means that it can also be blocked by blue creatures.

Fear isn't gone.
If a white creature has fear, it will still take an artifact and/or black creature to block it. Intimidate is to fear what Day of Judgement is to Wrath of God.

Awwww, he coulda been such a good draw engine in UB control back in the day, but psychatog made anything other than upheaval SMASH irrelevant back in the day.

Fear doesn't = intimidate

Fear = Can only be blocked by black or artifact creatures

Intimidate = can only be blocked by same colour creatures or artifact creatures

Mostly, Fear is on black creatures so they are interchangerable. However, you can enchant creatures with fear it is useful. Also, If all creatures become a single colour (IE: not black) A creature with fear is unblockable, whereas in the same senario, a creature with intimidate is kinda hosed

I run it in my casual {U/B} control deck.

Does Blue or Black look better?
