Ninja stars give you life when someone else plays red? Sounds legit... Dragon's Claw makes more sense flavorwise.

With the aforementioned R&D's Secret Lair... you could argue that the ability is to make every red spell played for the rest of the game have you gain 1 life instead of their normal effects. Not a bad hoser, eh?
