I've always liked Kaysa, and since she's been elfified, even moreso. If I currently owned any copies she'd go in an elf tribal deck alongside Elvish Champion. Partly just so I can call the deck The Kaysa Chiefs, admittedly, but still...

Great card for green beat down. Throw in a lot of weak green monsters or even make a huge amount of green tokens and overrun. +1/+1 doesn't seem that great but it adds up quickly. Never underestimate a small green creature, it can get big really fast.

At 1st glance, a 2/3 "legend" for 5 that gives +1/+1 doesn't seem spectacular.. But she's not a 2/3, she's a 3/4 and that just changes everything. It gives her evasion and makes her removal on top of the bonus at p/t. Bet she's the kind of card that once you play with her, you understand why she's legendary.. Solid 2nd impression!

Huh, "you control," that wouldn't become standardized until recently, but this card was way ahead of the game. Also had an affect on modern design in that she gives herself her own bonus, which probably fueled the way they template lords, now. Amazing art, too.
