Seriously though: how does this interact with Lure-type cards?

Also this is harsh with Goblin War Drums.

Salient- well, I think if they had, they woulda changed the art to be more obviously an Eldrazi. But I get the point, and yes that would have been awesome :)

@Garralan: You can't force your opponent to pay a cost, so the combined effect is that they can pay 3 to block your Lure, or pay nothing and block nothing.
