The deer looks severely unimpressed. And rightly so.

They used to print a lot more of these little green flyers, didn't they? Deck idea!

@001010011100101110: You're wrong. Why would Willow Faerie be strictly worse than Storm Crow? If anything, I think green needs flyers more than blue >_>

At the very least, it's strictly the same as Storm Crow.

Green could use more little fliers.

I had a dream once where I was Charlie Brown and had a deer that played basketball, and it was a world famous deer because she was really pretty and played basketball. Anyways, a poacher shot her and then he got the death penalty.

That dream comes to mind now, because looking at that sexy little fairy on a deer, it reminds me of that sexy little deer that played basketball.

@GrimjawxRULES This is ACTUALLY strictly worse than Storm Crow simply because of the existence of Apocalypse Chime.

Oh, Willow Faerie. When I was first getting into the game, I combined these gals with Giant Growth to block my friend's Serra Angels. The angel would die; the faerie would survive. What a great little combo. For a time, I called Willow Faerie: "Serra Angel killers."

Yeah, we shouldn't underestimate the value and effectiveness of small, cheap, and cost-efficient flyers in the color of green; which is master at creature-boost. ;)

I gotta go with 3/5. A creature like this holds a special place for green, which doesn't have a whole lot in the realm of flyers. Also, in terms of combat stats and ability, it's darned cost-efficient (yes, the blue knock-off Storm Crow is as cost-efficient - though, due to its color and due to its place in its color, the Crow deserves more like a 2 or a 2.5). Furthermore, as I stated above, Green is great at efficient and effective creature boost, augmenting the efficiency of small creatures that are efficient in their own rights. Any time you can destroy a Serra Angel (or other creatures of similar value and effectiveness) for only Green and one card from your hand (after having a 1Green creature already in play), is a very good time.

Funny thing is, faeries make more flavor sense in green, being spirits bound to nature and all. However, in mechanical terms, faeries are a much better fit in blue. Such are the trials and tribulations of game design.

Storm Crow called. They want their identity back.
