Probably because the smallest pool of players are familiar with Alpha. I started during Unlimited so when I look at an old card I go there or Beta maybe. Just saying maybe Alpha cards aren't looked at as much as other versions.

Gosh I used to have one of these way back when...and I was just a kid too! As I recall I traded it for a Shivan dragon back then. Now that I look at it that stupid box inside a box inside a box thing is really hard to look at.
