Pillarfield Ox in a core set? I knew there was powercreep, but I didn't know it was that serious.

I find the continuity of flavor text on this card amusing.

M13 has some awesome reprints. It also has... this.

Strictly less flavorful than its original printing

This made me laugh.

I love this card for flavor alone.

At the least the flavor text is now 150% better.

I would like it more, if the name would fit the picture.
I can't see any of these pillars. Where are they supposed to be?

This is the greatest card to ever be printed in Magic: The Gathering history. Ever.

As far as play value goes, this card is about as bad as it gets which is probably obvious to everyone.. It would be a rare deck that needed an Ox... The artwork is nice though. I guess not every card can be a Jace and they print junk cards in every set. I'll use this as kindling at my next camp fire.

Tribal Ox will rock your socks.

Whatever else you say about this critter, it has the shortest creature subtype in the history of Magic. And it's the world's most talented Tic-Tac-Toe player.

I think that this is one of the most flavorful cards of all time. Normally, Magic showcases the really cool, interesting beings and locations on the plane, such as the giant dragons, huge evil demons, a gate to unleash planar destroyers, or powerful, triumphant angels. However, on any given plane, there are likely to be boring, mundane creatures, such as this, that Magic never shows. Of course, the most exciting things are the epic, powerful cards that make you say "whoa"; nevertheless, it is important to have something to compare these cards to. Cards like this bring a nice dose of reality to an otherwise fantastic game
