Great land, the original duals were excellent, I just love the rules text and how new rules technology have eliminated it. And which Wizard staffer was responsible for the background for the rules text, It looks ghastly.

If I won a few million dollars I would buy a Playset of each of the Original Duals, a Black Lotus, one of each Mox, excluding Mox Opal because I have that thank god, a Time Walk, Timetwister, Ancestral Recall, an Alpha Shivan Dragon, a Library of Alexandria, a Birds of Paradise Alpha, Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale. I could go on forever, but i know every single one of you reading this agree with me haha. I love this game!

Fails to live up to its name, I'm afraid.

That is a good land if I've ever seen one.

Hideous background on the rules text, but iconic. The prototype from which all other lands are made.

I really wonder what they were thinking, printing these.

I like neither this art NOR the Cube art, which at first confused me but then I realized: It's right and proper for "Badlands" to look, not like Mordor or Mustafar, which would be cool hangouts from an evil villain's perspective, but more like the Jundland Wastes. It's just an awful place to be, and you wanna get out of here a.s.a.p.

If you meet another Planeswalker who seems at home in the Badlands (because they played one), they will show you exactly why.

Ironically, I think this looks more like a Plains than a Mountain or a Swamp.

So, South Dakota is the home of chaotic, pyromaniac necromancers?
