I wish this was better.

Not very good on it's own, and even worse if your opponent has Proliferate cards. This does have some use with the various Zendikar cards that bounce lands back to your hand - but there are still better dual-lands.

The term Veld (often spelled Veldt) refers primarily (but not exclusively) to the wide open rural spaces of South Africa or southern Africa and in particular to certain flatter areas or districts covered in grass or low scrub. The word veld comes from the Afrikaans (ultimately from Dutch), literally meaning 'field'.

Shame it can't tap for 1 as well. Then it'd be good.

I like it.. good flavor. And it's chewy, too!

Becomes a bit more useful when combined with Power Conduit. Still there are much better options for white / green than this. Agreeing with Baconradar that being able to tap it for 1 would be an improvement.

Yeah, it seems very lame. It essentially freezes itself every time it taps for mana. But it's interesting that it doesn't come in tapped, so the first turn you get a dual land without any drawbacks. It just slows you down every turn after the first turn.

As Velkaarn mentioned, Power Conduit seems like a very nice combo. Free charge or +1/+1 tokens, and you get a dual land with no drawbacks! Of course when you have the land without Power Conduit, it sucks big time.
