Looks beatiful in the new frame. I'm always eager to see reprints like these. Sad that there were too few.

Green always seems to have the best Cantrips.

A beautiful card that looks even more beautiful in the new frame. Strictly lovelier and more fragrant than Wall of Omens.

Awesome reprint!
Am I the only one that likes the old frame more? Ha, I remember so many people being upset when they were switching over. I must admit the actual artwork looks better now but I like the rich colors of the old frames.

Let's try this:
Vote my comment with half a star if you like the new frame
Vote my comment 5 stars if you like the old frame

Beautiful reprint, very happy to see this remade. They've made a lot of long standing magic players happy with some of these new reprints of classics.

@TreeTrunkMaster
I gave you 3.5 because my favorite card frame is the Planar Chaos "timeshifted" card frame. They incorporate the layout improvements of the new frame with the rich, saturated colors of the old frame.

Looks good in new frame but damn, is the planechase set symbol ugly as hell or what?

A lovely card for any Gx deck that's more about control than aggression. Offers a solid defender against many 1-3 drops, and hell, even if it buys the farm after just one block, you haven't lost any cards from it.

As an ETB it's also abusable by many recursion elements like Mimic Vat or Sheoldred, and as a green wall it even helps ramp alongside Overgrown Battlement and Axebane Guardian. All in all, very solid card.

Of course, if you're looking for a more aggressive power/toughness and lack of defender for the same cost, there's always Elvish Visionary.

I love this and Wall of Omens. They neutralize one of your opponent's weaker attackers and provides you with another card, which pays off in the mid game. On top of that, any 'enters the battlefield' effect is a major headache for a blue player trying to keep the board clear of your creatures.

really needs to be reprinted so modern has access to it, great card

Each reprint identical, every picture and flavor text disturbingly exact.

It just feels ironic to me that muggtonp has the same comment, word-for-word, on each printing of the card.
