Actually, I can totally see where the wordy part in the text box is useful.
Unfortunately, the creepy old guy that looks like he wants to do inappropriate things to those rocks just really doesn't do it for me. Animate Dead's first art may have been really dated, but I'm honestly wondering if new art for this wasn't needed more. xP

kidding aside,
its a great addition to deck parfait, to keep your land count low allowing you to use land tax..especially now that land tax just got unbanned in legacy, its a good replacement for sol ring..

The art is so terrible, this card should have: When Crystal Vein enters the battlefield, each player loses 2 life. When Crystal Vein leaves the battlefield, each opponent gains 1 life.

I am a fan of this land. Doesn't come into play tap and can produce , while giving you the option to boost your land count if you need. Perfect fit for any mono deck.
