Rather large tempo swing vs weenie. Also, kills White Knight.

You get to mess up 2 of your opponents creatures for 4mana at instant speed, very fun :)

Imagine this:
Your opponent's got a pair of storm crows bearing down on you. You start sweating, and peel of the top card of your libary. Salvation! As your opponent attacks, the storm crows are debilitated, leaving you free to hope for a really lucky topdeck next turn to beat the one returning storm crow.

But seriously, it's not a bad card, albeit nothing special. Screws with your opponent majorly in the right situation, though...

Common? Yeah, this is something I'd draft in a heartbeat.

expensive unsummon with options. not bad. can certainly achieve card advantage.

edit: You're right about the tempo, although that in itself is a form of card advantage, as you spend one card to remove 2, no matter how temporary, and they must spend the mana again to play the card. You play one spell to take care of two and cause them to waste a turn to boot. No matter what you want to call it, i like it.

As for their personality, you do realize that their individual personalities were very well developed in the books, right? just because flavor text doesn't give the most information doesn't mean it isn't there.

And FYI: in response to you saying they are killing each other, that isn't Hanna, it is Yawgmoth disguised as her. Thus the flavortext.

My friends used to get so sick of hearing me say "I'll cast Jilt with the kicker."
That memory alone makes me love this card.

One thing I love about this card is how the damage can still be done to creatures with protection from Red.

Don't quite know why, but this is one of my favorite cards in the game. I always liked cards like this and Into the Roil. My friends just think I'm crazy :)

In the novel Yawgmoth had Gerrard dancing to his every tune by pretending to have risen Hanna from the dead. Yawgmoth even got Gerrard to behead the mighty Urza Planeswalker. However as Gerrard held on the decapitated head of Urza, Yawgmoth made a crucial mistake. Yawgmoth spoke through the makeshift Hanna, for that she truly was, making Gerrard realize that the woman in front of him was not his Hanna.
