While I concede that it's a pretty good card, your opponent just needs a couple islands to swat it off the stack with a Counterspell.

How does this card not have a perfect 5.0 avg? Must be a few people hating on blue. Considering how people are always complining how cards should be cheaper, this was an original. Now all we have is Cancel, which costs more.
