Uh.... c-upkeep is one of those things you either love or hate. But with Coldsnap, it's much easier to love. Still, it's probably not worth running a card like this in your deck.
Unless you're running a c-upkeep deck, which is weird.

Goes great in my Unicorn/Pegasus deck.

I love Unicorns, and I love MTG. But I hate MTG Unicorns. Is that weird? Need a mono white creature to add mana? Try Sunseed Nurturer.

I love how to you can add either or . I'll add more rather than less, thank you. This would have been more important before M10, though. I love how old cards cater to increadibly specific needs. This would go great in my W/U cuumulative-upkeep unicorn deck.

Way too restrictive.... you can't even use the blue mana for regular upkeep, for God's sake. On top of that, you're paying 1WW for a 2/2, which is a pretty poor trade off to begin with.
Avoid.
1/5, and that is only because you've got a nice pic from Mr. Hoover.

It was decent support for W/U Ice Age decks relying on things such as Illusionary Wall or Illusionary Forces. When it comes to commons, there are always better choices (like uncommons or rares). However, presuming you're on a budget of some kind, you have to play with the cards you own rather than the ones you'd prefer. Snowfall was another c-upkeep fuel card that fit this role, albeit one with a c-upkeep of its own...

I still think they should of errata'd it to be a Snow card. Then it'd be usable in Snow decks as well.

My gf loves unicorns.
And she begrudgeingly plays magic with me.
I want to make her a unicorn deck as a romantic gesture, but i'm sure it will go unappreciated.
Plus i don't think a unicorn deck will ever actually win, but the thought is kind of nice.
I'll defeat you with the power of love and rainbows!

Possibly the most beautiful artwork in Magic: the Gathering, ever. Quinton Hoover at his finest. I would have rated the card's functionality at 2 out of 5 stars, but it would have pained me too much to rate a card with such lovely artwork so low.

The artwork looks like it would be a nice mural on a kids bedroom wall.
This guy makes sense since a ton of the blue cards in Ice Age used cumulative upkeep but still a rather limited ability. Though at the time, 3 mana for a 2/2 wasn't that uncommon outside of Green or specific critters like the White Knight.
