First Strike and Unleash on the same creature make for a very nice Limited card. I bet I'll see a lot of this guy at the prerelease.

The new Blood Ogre, I like it.

Perfectly costed, plus it has unleash. The 2/2 with first strike makes sense. A 3/3 with first strike for 3 makes thid guy a major early game threat. And his cost only goes down after playing rakdos.

Also, notice how tribal he is. He'll fit nicely into R/W human decks.

Human Warrior continues to be the most badass creature type.

Hate to be that guy... but compare with Rock Jockey...

This is a very good human that pros like me will be unleashing onto the masses very soon now.

Granted, it's easier to get this guy up to 3/3 than the Blood Ogre is. But I'd still prefer it if my first striker had the ability to stay back as a blocker, as a sort of mathematical intimidator for my opponent. Still, if there's a semi-viable RDW deck, this could fill the 3-mana slot decently enough (especially in Standard Pauper).

Played with this guy at the pre-release. Was never sad to see him, Unleashed or otherwise.

2/2 for 3 with first strike makes a great blocker for your rakdos deck in limited, pulled 3 of these at prerelease

Well, we've come a long way since Grey Ogre.

Good card, great name and flavor.

3.5/5. A potential 3/3 first strike beater for 3. Solid card in limited and possiby competitive constructed.

As soon as I realized what he's using for a weapon, i wished his flavor text had been "Flag, you're it!"

You're kidding, right? You're comparing a (2R) 3/3 with a casting restriction and no abilities to a (2R) that can be either a 2/2 first striker or a 3/3 first striker that can't block. I'd choose this over Rock Jockey any day. For flexibility, easier casting, and cooler flavor.

A splatter! It's like a bouncer, only a bit more forceful...
