Underrated. Great card.

Yeah, the snow-covered forestwalk distracts from the fact that this is a 1/2 1CC drop. Nice card.

A card named Dryad but not a dryad >_>

Strictly better than Woodland Druid. Unfortunately, a card can be good according to the mana curve but still completely useless.

Well, it's a 1/2 for 1...better than Eager Cadet.

Wizards should errata this to be a snow card. It mean really, the art is full of snow, the creature has a snow-covered landwalk, and it has RIME in it's name!

The flavor has me scratching my head.

Gotta watch out for those bastard lieing dryads. You can't trust the ugly ones. Only beautiful creatures have your best interests at heart.

At the time, this was the only one-drop 1/2 without a drawback in the entire game, so it found its way into a number of weenie decks, even without regards to the landwalk.

But this kind of illustrates the entire problem with snow lands in Ice Age: Most of the things that interacted with them punished the player who was using them, and some of those things were worth using anyway, so there was basically no reason for anyone to ever put snow lands into their deck.

Funny, it has an advantageous ability that makes you think it's worse than it is.

I second that this (and many other cards from Ice Age/Alliances) should be errataad into a snow creature so we can have more fun with thematic play from the snow set.
