hmmm merchant of secrets is blue...so that's a mute point. Elvish visionary is great, but if you draw on your turn and have 7 cards already you end up discarding. Beginning of next upkeep draws are more advantageous than you might think.

I'm sorry why are you playing elvish visionary with 8 cards in hand, its a turn 2 drop. The 1 mana difference+immediate card draw is huge strictly worse than elvish visionary.

I like the look of the art on this card. I feel like they could do more with this shapeshifter looking fantasy concept. But I sense they have that coming when they get rolling with an eventual Native/Indigenous American type theme.
