Remove the key piece of your opponent's plan.

Like it being able to give you options.

expensive, but green removal is hard to come by. I do not like how you pay just for the option to target a land. I will take the ooze that does the same thing and is a creature with deathtouch for more.

I would not say "outclassed." Sure, Bramblecruch can hit a 'walker, but Bramblecrush isn't going to do anything against lands that are creatures.
