I don't think it's that bad. You could do alot worse for one mana, plus tapping the land at the point you'd use this would be inconsequential.
Don't get me wrong - i'd never play it in a serious deck - but it's not that bad of a card and it has lots of flavor. The art is absolutely terrible, but what did you expect from Drew Tucker? 2/5

It enchants a land to turn it into a bad Pendelhaven. Pendelhaven is a staple of Infect decks. . . which generally like to attack. Did I mention this was an aura? :(
update: And effective come the Dark Ascension rules update, this is changed back to a "tap enchanted land: ..." ability instead of a weird "land has the ability "{T}:.."" ability. That makes me a lot happier than it probably should.

This was one of the first Magic cards I ever owned. Looking back I can see why my Buddy didn't care about giving it away.
