Huge anti-white card, like Flashfires except damaging at the same time. Total back-breaker in the late game.

It's cards like these that make me put Burning wishes in my R/B deck.

White had karma, i guess its only fair that black has Stench of evil, seems like a nice side deck card.

If i point at this card and then point at your mouth, you know it's time for a tic tac.

Funny that they can pay mana to prevent the damage, when mana is something they'll be running low on.

I use copies of this card as Zombie tokens.
No one ever complains. :)

Could the owner of the Plains that are about to be destroyed, tap them all for mana in response and then use that mana to prevent some of the damage?

Stench of Evil: May occur during Magic games.

I really kind of hate those early color-hoser cards. No subtlety. "You, you're playing white? Well, you lose, now." I never was even really hit with one, I just hate them from a design standpoint.

randomlife - yes. That's probably part of the reason why it's 2 mana to prevent 1 damage.
