A reprinted flip card? Never thought I'd see the day. Still, this one is GREAT. Instant-speed, targeted, cheap graveyard hate for one mode, instant-speed, repeatable, reasonable reanimation FROM ANY GRAVEYARD for the other. Nighteyes, I've missed you.
this is useless in a deck that doesn't revolve around removal and other cards like this. True story, I've tried...

An instant flip with Tormod's Crypt on turn two, or three if you want a big surprise. Or Dark Ritual -> Thought Seize -> Nezumi, then Tormod's Crypt next turn.

so what's the ruling on using this as a Commander? (Flip cards are wierder and more annoying rules-wise than transform....>.<)

An opponent use this in commander the other day and there was some confusion. Can Nezumi flip by targeting a graveyard that is already empty? I've never thought so, but I can't find any rulings.

@Walker No; to "remove target card" you need to be able to target a card. If this was: "Remove a card from target player's graveyard"
then unless it had another clause about "if you do" you'd be fine to do it if it's already empty. As it is, you need to target a card, successfully remove it, and that be the last card in the graveyard.

Bojuka Bog and Tormod's Crypt don't work. As BlurryMadness points out, you can't use the ability if there aren't any cards in the graveyard you're going after. Even if you activate it, then get rid of the graveyard, the ability is cancelled due to no legal targets.
You cannot, without broken fast mana, flip this earlier than turn 3, no matter how many crypts or bojuka bogs you play.

Can you use him as your general in Commander?

If you use a Tormod's Crypt or something like that, they would be too overwhelmed to play an instant or sorcery or get anything killed... If you did kill their whole graveyard, you could still only have to use the ability once to flip him after they play the spell.

I just played someone who was removing creature cards out of my graveyard while I was playing a deck that returned creatures back to my hand... instead of removing the non-creature cards, he was helping me prevent the Graverobber from flipping... HAHAHA! I love it when people play their cards stupidly.

You cannot flip Graverobber with an empty graveyard, since there would be no card to target with the ability so you can't use it. Only a graveyard with exactly 1 card will work with it, unless you do some combo to remove the person's graveyard while Graverobber's ability is on the stack :P
Also, this technically can't be your commander because it's only legendary in its non-default state - but if your playgroup is okay with it, go ahead. (Personally I think this is kind of overpowered as a commander, but that's just me)
