Hexproof has entered the building (at least, with this particular costume).

I'm glad he got to have one of the first printings with a keyword that he really helped popularize and was essentially once named after him. (trollshroud)

I'm glad they keyworded it. I always hated calling it Trollshroud. He was the only troll to have it(Thrun was based off him, don't even go there), and trolls were always much more notorious for Regen. Ascetic shroud would be a much better, though lengthier, name.

Still a beast card though.

"Hexproof"? Screw that, I'm still calling it Troll Shroud.

@Dr. Pingas:
It's better as 'troll shroud' because it's the trolling version of shroud. There to make your opponent mad without affecting you any.

I wouldn't exactly call it hex proof being it specified by spells or ability's you opponent controls...
But anyway, I've played with and aginst this guy since he's come out... As some people know this was the stall for the old "Rock" green/black deck... So it seemed anyway... Holding off attackers till Spirit Monger, or another well known black legendary dragon would come out... Only problem was, 90% of the time, troll would kill you before either one of those guys would even come out... 4.5/5... The only reason I took .5 from him was the 2 mana regen... Besides that, he's the perfect troll...

Well sacred wolf is not that bad for a common compare to ascetic, missing regen and the less power is balance by the less green cost .

If it wasn't for Wrath of Bob this would be a lot more scary. Also this is one of the few regeneration creatures where you are fine with casting it without the regeneration on hand.

What more can you *really* ask from a 3-drop? This is about as good as it gets
