Thrive + Cytoplast Manipulator = untap stuff = blue control to the max. One of my friends put counters on all of my creatures and one by one proceeded to take them over. It was pretty sad to watch.

Could work well with the new proliferate mechanic from scars of mirrodin. Or steal your opponents creatures with Cytoplast Manipulator, or just graft creatures in general.
