I love big red but this doesn't cut the mustard in constructed IMO.

A great last resort card that can help you win games. It's a risk on your part but it works great you have creatures with undying and your opponent loses cards that he can't afford to lose. I admit that this card carries a large amount of risk but it can make or break a game.

OK guys I have a question. My friend went to a pre-release where this card was used. He said that people were using it in the following manner.

They chose creature for the first permanent type, creature for the second permanent type, and creature for the third permanent type, thus making everyone sacrifice 6 creatures.

I questioned this, and said it is absolutely not the way this card works, but he was insistent that it was. He even claimed that an Official at the event confirmed that you were able to play this card in this manner. Can anyone please shed some light on this for us? (I have $5 riding on it)

As the card says choose an order, I'm pretty sure that you are right convoy2337. As for proving it, you will need to get an official reply from wizards or wait until they update the rulings in gatherer.

convoy2337 is definitely right, the way they worded it makes it pretty clear.

@convoy2337 You're right. If the card said "Choose an order for artifacts, enchantments, and/or creatures" you could sacrifice six of any, but it only says "and", not "and/or". There's no mixing and matching for which ones do or don't get sacrificed. You have to pick an order for all three.
