At 5 mana the enemy already opened the gate and even had sex with your sister before you hit the board to stand there vigilantly you stupid 2/5 :P

Should have been cheaper, sadly.

Fairly costed for a 2/5 vigilant Soulbond, but true, it usually hits the board too late. But once there, it's pretty significant.

do you realize this card neutralizes 2 attackers? and even if the paired is destroyed can pair another one. still overcosted but not so bad.

Don't worry so much about the cost here, it isn't like this is the only thing you'll have on the board at 5 (this IS white, after all). What you WILL get at 5 for 4{W} is TWO nice blockers (if you soulbond it, and why wouldn't you?) Vigilance isn't anything to sneeze at, after all.

It's just a little too much mana, if it were 1 less it would be really usable. Sure giving another creature vigilance is great, but I have a hard time justifying this when Serra Angel is the same cmc and about as splashable.
