Why is this rated so low? 2/2 for 3 colorless isn't exactly a horrible deal and the "early rampage" is nice too.

Quietus Spike and him seem really funny to geather

I think he would like first strike and a pump.

First strike, deathtouch and lure.

Nobody's going to block this guy unless they have to, and even then with as few as they can manage. And since he doesn't get much bigger per block you're caught with a card that your opponent prefers not to block, but will when it becomes annoying, so no cipher or other player damage tricks.

Outclasses Horrible Hordes.
