I guess it's good in a hellbent deck or something. Or any deck where you will often have 0 cards on hand. There you can play this to have some removal around for later. Still, all in all this card sadly sucks, since you can only sac it at sorcery speed. Otherwise it would have been nice.

I like this card. Let's you drain away your opponent's life and can take out a creature if you need to. Pretty great in limited, really. Only thing is it's not as nice in multiplayer, since you only hit one opponent... or maybe that's a good thing?

The maintenance effect is interesting, but the activated ability is underwhelming. It should target players too, then this'd be something.
