Very cool to see this guy in Elspeth's deck, great utility, and split second rocks blue.

2WhiteWhite for Crusade on a 2/2 flying body is pretty sweet. Flash & split second just sweeten the deal

Wow, it's a combat trick that's uncounterable AND gives you a 2/2 flying creature.

If this had been a Spirit Soldier, or even a Spirit Knight, it would've been infinitely better. Don't get me wrong, it's still an amazing card. 2/2 flash-blocker + crusade, uncounterable, absolutely great.

Great Card but it kinda makes me sad that its not a knight - come on its called celestial CRUSADER after all.
But i guess a good creature type would overpower him...

When I read one of those "blah blah blah something awesome Spirit or Arcane card" entries, my eyes sort of glaze over unless I remember this guy exists.

This might be one of my favorite white creatures, ever. It gives what you wanted out of Benalish Knight. This is the ultimate in 'ATTENTION ORCS- THE TIDE HAS TURNED. YOU ARE NOW SCREWED.' cards :D

I like the idea of throwing in Knight Exemplars to guard each other, in an otherwise non Knight deck. The result is your Knight Exemplars feel very special, like an elite four man commando team that is brutal together, but without making your entire army feel like it's made of undercosted tanks.

I actually hate the idea of White Tribal- it feels a little too stromtrooper-y (bunch of faceless dorks) for me. Instead, I'll mix up Soldiers, Knights, Spirits, and Angels together to make a really badass looking Alliance. White has cards like Honor of the Pure to let you play with the same power of other colors' tribes, without having to share a creature type to get bonuses. You can definitely pull of the flavor of a white community while at the same time keeping the team diverse, ready for anything. Fish, Gobbys, and Elves may be fast, but compared to the full potential of white creatures they are incredibly short-sighted and narrow-minded tribes. Well, except merfolk. Those guys are just assholes.

Great design on a card. Perfect CMC, and the effects are never useless in a white deck. 4/5

lmao! I signed on just to 5 star your comment.

Oh.. cool card or somethin'; whatever. (4/5. White instant speed pump spell with a flying body attached and psuedo-uncounterability)

I am so happy. I was looking for good cards to get around counterspells for my Tajic duel commander deck, and this guy is perfect. While searching for split second cards, I also found his glorious brother: sulfur elemental.

Now I have 2 awesome anthems that also are creatures that are uncounterable!
