While I agree that the vanilla ones are boring, I don't see this as a 7/7 with a drawback but as a 4/4 with huge potential.

Unfortunately the first set of the block's mechanics will be watered down, so we have to wait for Dark Ascension to get the "interesting" common werewolves. That does not take away from how good this card is. I agree with Tommy. This is a 4/4 for five with extra potential.
